The actress took to her social media account to announce that she will be joining the exclusive Jury members at the 75th Festival De Cannes. It is a huge reason for the country to celebrate as Deepika Padukone will be representing the country on such a prestigious platform.
Cannes film festival is an annual film festival that witnesses the gathering of renowned people from the film world all across the globe. Up until 2003, the festival was known as International Film Festival which takes place every year at Cannes, France. It is a platform where the best movies from around the world are showcased which eventually promotes and helps in developing the film industry globally.
The superstar of the Indian film industry, Deepika Padukone today announced that she will be joining the eight-member jury at the film festival. Other renowned panelists which will be present at the festival include Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, actress screenwriter producer Rebecca Hall, Italian actress Jasmine Trinca, French director Ladj Ly, American director Jeff Nichols and director Joachim Trier from Norway.
