Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly shared a heart-wrenching tribute on social media in memory of her late son Shamsher, who would have turned seven on September 10. The actress posted a video that traces her journey from pregnancy to a deeply emotional visit to Shamsher’s grave, where she spent time with her other children.
The video, a poignant reflection of her experience, showcases moments from Celina’s pregnancy to the birth of her twin sons, Shamsher and Arthur. It also includes tender scenes of Celina with her surviving sons Winston, Viraaj, and Arthur as they visit Shamsher’s resting place, remembering the child they lost. Celina opened up about the conflicting emotions she faces with Arthur’s birthday approaching on September 10.
In her heartfelt post, Celina wrote, “As baby Arthur’s birthday approaches on the 10th of September, many different emotions overwhelm me as I remember all that we’ve been through… All that could have been. We lost Arthur’s twin, Shamsher, to a hypoplastic heart, and this is something very difficult to fathom even after six years.”

Celina further shared the emotional toll on her family, revealing that Arthur often asks about his twin brother, Shamsher, and cries for him. She expressed her astonishment at how Arthur remembers Shamsher despite his young age. “The older twins Winston and Viraaj try to console and make up for Shamsher to little Arthur… They, being twins, understand his pain better than anyone else, I guess. As a mother and as parents, our pain is different. All you mothers and fathers would understand,” she added. “Thinking of Shamsher… With a heavy heart, he would have been seven years old with Arthur.”
Celina Jaitly married Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier Peter Haag in 2011. The couple welcomed their first set of twin boys, Winston and Viraaj, in 2012. In 2017, they were blessed with a second set of twins, Shamsher and Arthur. Unfortunately, Shamsher passed away shortly after birth due to a congenital heart defect.
Celina, known for her roles in films such as No Entry, Apna Sapna Money Money, and Golmaal Returns, has often shared personal stories, reflecting her resilience and strength through difficult times.
