Karan Veer Mehra, a contestant on Bigg Boss 18, faced a harsh reality check from show host Salman Khan during a recent episode. A clip shared on ColorsTV’s Instagram account on Saturday showcased the tense exchange between the two, drawing attention to Karan’s challenges.

In the video, Salman Khan confronted Karan, stating, “Karan, bahar aap parivaar jod nahi paaye, aur yahan bhi parivaar jod nahi parahe ho. Aap koi bhi cheeze complete nahi kar paate ho. Yeh jo kone kone mein kar rahe ho, yeh khulle mein karo” (Karan, you were unable to keep families together outside, and the same is happening here. You can’t complete anything. Whatever you are doing on the sly, do it in front of people). The blunt feedback highlighted Karan’s struggles in both his personal life and within the confines of the reality show.

The post accompanying the video read, “Karanveer ne kiya harsh truth ka samnaa, jab mila unko Salman Khan se reality check” (Karanveer faced harsh truth when he got a reality check from Salman Khan).

Adding to the drama, fellow contestant Eisha Singh addressed Karan’s past relationships during the episode, specifically mentioning his two divorces. This conversation arose after Karan hinted at a possible link-up between Eisha and another contestant, Avinash Mishra. In a vulnerable moment, Karan acknowledged his difficulties in maintaining relationships, admitting, “I’m realizing that I don’t have the capability of keeping a family together. This has happened to me outside, too. I had a family similar to this, but I couldn’t hold on.” Overcome with emotion, he left the conversation to collect himself.

Karan Veer Mehra is no stranger to reality television, having previously won Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. He has appeared in several Bollywood films, including Ragini MMS 2, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Blood Money, and Badmashiyaan. His personal life has been tumultuous; he was first married to Devika Mehra in 2009, but the couple divorced in 2018. Karan’s second marriage to Nidhi Seth in 2021 also ended in divorce just two years later.

As Bigg Boss 18 progresses, Karan’s journey continues to captivate audiences, shedding light on the complexities of his personal experiences amid the pressures of reality television.
