Matt LeBlanc, beloved for his portrayal of Joey Tribbiani on the hit sitcom Friends, has left his former co-stars concerned about his increasingly reclusive behaviour. Once known for his upbeat personality, LeBlanc has kept a low profile in recent years, both on social media and in public appearances. Recently, the actor was spotted car shopping with his daughter, marking one of his few public sightings.

LeBlanc, who last reunited with his F.R.I.E.N.D.S. castmates for the highly anticipated reunion episode, has largely stepped away from the spotlight since then. His most recent social media post was a tribute to his late friend and Friends co-star, Matthew Perry, who tragically passed away in 2023. The post expressed his deep sorrow and fond memories of working together on the iconic show.

Concerns from Close Friends

According to sources from InTouch Weekly, LeBlanc’s withdrawal has raised concerns among his inner circle. “He used to be such an upbeat, happy guy, but now it seems like he doesn’t feel worthy to be around them,” shared an insider. The source added that his growing isolation has worried his former Friends castmates, including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow.

“What’s worrying for Jennifer and the rest of the Friends crew is that he’s become so withdrawn, and they hear from him less and less,” the source continued. The actor’s increasing distance from his long-time friends has sparked concern about his mental and emotional well-being.

Reconnection at Perry’s Funeral

LeBlanc briefly reconnected with his former co-stars in November 2023 during the funeral of Matthew Perry, who tragically died from a drug overdose. The funeral served as a solemn reunion for the Friends cast, but despite this reconnection, LeBlanc has remained largely out of touch since.

His bond with Perry was well-known, both on and off-screen. The two actors shared a close friendship throughout the decade-long run of Friends from 1994 to 2004 and beyond. In the wake of Perry’s passing, LeBlanc paid tribute to his late friend through heartfelt social media posts, reflecting on their years together and expressing his grief.

A Quiet Life

While LeBlanc has remained out of the public eye, his increasing reclusiveness has not gone unnoticed by those who care about him. His withdrawal, coupled with the passing of his close friend, has left many hoping that the actor will find the support and solace he needs in this difficult period.
