Ayushmann Khurrana today is a known name in the industry. The actor doesn’t come from any filmy family and had to work hard to reach the position he has now. There was a time when the ‘Andhadhun’ actor was auditioning day in and day out. During his struggling days, he also came across a casting couch incident which he later recalled in an interview.
The Bollywood industry also has a dark side to it which many newcomers or established actors have talked about. It is the casting couch that used to exist in the industry strongly at one point in time. Talking about the same, Ayushmann revealed that a casting director had once asked him to show his ‘tool’ to get the lead role. However, the actor politely refused and said he is straight, and walked out of the room.
It is a strong perspective that only women have to face such uncomfortable situations but, Ayushmann proved it wrong. According to the actor, men also have to face such awkward incidents. He also said that he is well equipped with the rejections and failures as he faced it in the beginning of his career.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann has given many back-to-back hits in the last two years. He is known for his unique sense of choosing the scripts. The actor always experiments with his characters and goes for the subjects which are untouched. He is currently gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Anek’ which will be directed by Anubhav Sinha.
