Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana is an actor who is known for his outstanding acting skills. The actor Ayushmann has completed a decade in the industry and has numerous hit movies to his name. Ironically, Ayushmann Khurrana is making the limelight these days for his upcoming movie Anek which is being directed by Anubhav Sinha. Recently, the Bala star unveiled his character in Anek and revealed that he will be playing the role of an undercover cop in his upcoming film.
Speaking about his character, Ayushmann Khurrana expressed that this is the first time he is going to play such a role on screen and he was quite exhilarated to play Joshua in Anek. The actor stated: “Joshua in Anek is street smart and intelligent. He knows his way around people and can fight bad guys not only in a physical capacity but also with his great intellect.”
Vicky Donor actor Ayushmann Khurrana also stated that Joshua made him explore things he hadn’t done before. Moreover, the actor revealed his preparation and excitement for the role of Joshua and shared that he had to work hard on his physical and mental skills as well.
He added: “Right from his observation skills to his ability to combat the enemy, the character’s journey keeps one intrigued and gripped throughout. Also, the action sequences had to look real and raw to fit into the world of Anek and to portray what Anubhav had envisioned, I was inscribed with the right amount of guidance and training,” Ayushmann was quoted saying.
Even though Anubhav can’t stop appreciating Ayushmann Khurrana to get into his skin of Joshua and mentioned that nobody could have done the role better than him. For the unversed, Anek is a political action thriller film and is shot in the place of North East India. The movie is to be released on May 27, 2022.
