Arijit Singh has kicked off his much-anticipated UK & European Tour with an electrifying performance at the O2 Arena in London. The acclaimed Indian singer brought the house down on Sunday night with his energetic and soulful renditions, marking the start of his Live in Concert tour.

To the crowd’s delight, global superstar Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance, adding to the magic of the evening.

The concert featured a stunning collaboration between the two artists, with photos shared by Singh on Instagram revealing the duo playing guitars together, against a backdrop of fireworks, smoke, and dazzling dance performances. One striking image showed Arijit, arms raised, confetti flying as the audience cheered in unison. Singh captioned the post, “London, thank you for showing up in such a magnificent way last night. Love & Gratitude. Thank you for the perfect moment.”

Adding to the excitement, a fan page on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted a video of Arijit and Sheeran performing Sheeran’s 2017 hit track “Perfect.” Fans waved their cellphone flashlights in sync with the music, recording the once-in-a-lifetime moment as both singers delivered a heartfelt rendition of the love ballad.

The Live in Concert tour, which spans four dates, will next head to Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on September 16, followed by Rotterdam’s RTM Stage on September 19, and concluding at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena on September 22.

Arijit Singh expressed his enthusiasm for the tour on Instagram, writing, “UK & Europe, Starting THIS Sunday at London’s O2 Arena, followed by stops at Birmingham, Rotterdam, and wrapping up with the first-ever South Asian show at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena. Can’t wait to see you all there!”

This isn’t Ed Sheeran’s first high-profile collaboration with Indian artists. Earlier this year, during the final leg of his Mathematics Tour in Mumbai, Sheeran performed alongside actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, thrilling fans by singing a verse of Dosanjh’s 2021 hit “Lover” in Punjabi.

Sheeran also made headlines during his India visit by meeting Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana, and appearing on Kapil Sharma’s popular talk show, Breakfast with Champions.

Singh’s tour continues to capture attention, promising more unforgettable moments for fans across Europe.
