One of the most favorite couple of the TV industry Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy is on cloud nine as the two embraced parenthood for the first time. The couple has been blessed with a baby boy on 9 February. Rohit took to his Instagram handle to announce the good news by sharing a picture of him kissing Anita on her cheek, with an ‘It’s a boy’ graphic on top of the picture.
While sharing the picture, Rohit captioned it, “Oh Boy!” Soon, congratulatory messages for the lovely couple started pouring in. Karanvir Bohra wrote, “Yahooooooo! Congratulations,” while Madhurima Tuli commented, “Congratulations.” Hina Khan wrote, “Congratulations Anita and Rohit.” Other television actors such as Sukirti Kandpal, Nakuul Mehta, Kishwer Merchant, and many others showered love on the new parents. Sameera Reddy welcomed Rohit Reddy to the world of fatherhood, and wrote, “Welcome to the amazing world of fatherhood! Congratulations.”
Anita’s best friend and producer Ekta Kapoor visited her at the hospital. Taking to her Instagram stories, producer Ekta Kapoor made a post. She shared a video from the hospital where Anita Hassanandani was admitted. In the self-shot video, Kapoor said, “I’ve just experienced the best moment of my life, second-best actually.” The continued video saw Ekta saying, “So the big day is finally here. And, we’re too excited.”
Anita Hassanandani had announced her pregnancy in October last year by sharing a super adorable video of her and Rohit Reddy on Instagram. Earlier, talking about embracing motherhood at the age of 39, Anita told ETimes, “The age-factor did play on my mind. Many people told me that it’s going to be tough, it overwhelms you. But once I conceived naturally, I realised that age is just a number. You need to be mentally and physically fit for everything to fall in place. Jo naseeb mein likha hota hai, woh toh hota hi hai. Today, Rohit and I feel well-settled — we are financially and mentally in a place where we are ready to have a child.”
