His flawless transformation into Pooja has left many in awe, and even his co-star Ananya Panday couldn’t help but admit feeling a hint of envy over the admiration that Pooja’s character has been receiving. While chatting with Siddharth Kannan, Ananya was asked if she felt insecure compared to Pooja. She humorously responded, “Don’t you think I’m pretty and hot?” Ayushmann added, “Ananya inspired Pooja’s look benchmark.” Ananya agreed, saying, “Pooja has surpassed it.”
Commenting on Ayushmann’s character Pooja, Ananya jokingly shared, “Pooja and I had catfights on set. I talked to Ayushmann as Karam, not Pooja. During promotions, they praised him beautifully, stunning Ayushmann Khurrana and yes, Ananya Panday.” Ayushmann responded with a pun, “She was jealous, her mom’s name is Bhavana, and she had feelings of envy burning inside her.”
Discussing the 2019 film “Dream Girl,” it stood out in Bollywood as a comedy with a distinct concept and storyline, earning favorable reactions from audiences.
