Actor Amit Mistry, who was last seen in Amazon Prime’s Bandish Bandits, passed away on Friday morning due to cardiac arrest. The actor was seen in multiple shows and movies. Apart from acting, he was also an active dialogue writer and director. The news of his sudden death shocked everyone. Bollywood actress Kubbra Sait confirms the news of his death on Twitter.
Sharing a picture of Amit, Kubbra wrote, “You’ll be missed on earth @Actoramitmistry Condolences to the family.” Replying to a Twitter user’s query, Kubbra added that Amit died of a cardiac arrest. “Exactly… just reconfirmed. It happened this morning. Cardiac arrest,” she wrote.
Indian lyricist Swanand Kirkire, mourning his death, tweeted, “Amit Mistry ? No …this is unbelievable. He was an amazing Actor and a real happy soul” Also paying his condolence was actor Karan V Grover, he tweeted, “Shocking and deeply saddening news #Amitmistry Peace be upon u brother”
