Ameesha Patel was questioned by Instant Bollywood during a brief interview about what she finds uncomfortable about performing in front of the camera. According to the actress, she doesn’t object to things like kissing, sexually explicit scenes, or other actresses who look hot in skimpy clothing. She does not feel confident doing it, though. She went on to say that she follows these values while working on a movie, just as actors Salman Khan and Sunny Deol do when they are on set:
“How Salman always says, ‘I don’t kiss on screen’, Sunny Deol has got the same principle. I’ve got the same principles. You have to set your boundaries to what you as your personality are comfortable with. So, I’m not averse to looking hot. I’m not comfortable doing extensive sexually intimate scenes. I’m not comfortable with loads of different kinds of clothing. I’m not comfortable with abusing on screen or using mother-sister abuse. I’m not comfortable kissing on screen and things like that.
Ameesha also mentioned in the same conversation that a few family members, close friends, and professionals in the industry had cautioned her against Gadar 2. Will people go? they asked her, and she mentioned that they had asked her not to work on the movie. That period in film history is over. In actuality, Gadar 2 is a hugely popular movie with audiences and has already surpassed the $400 million mark domestically.
