Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently surprised their fans by coming together to promote their song. The duo had done a live session with director Ayan Mukherji to promote their song ‘Kesariya’ from Brahmastra. A clip of the song had been released long back in April but the full song has now been released online. To announce about the same Alia Bhatt was doing a live on Instagram with a friend and director Ayan Mukherji, but Ranbir Kapoor surprised both by joining the chat.
The fans and followers showered their love on both as they came together after a very long time. In the video, heavily pregnant Alia Bhatt was looking adorable in a blue floral dress along with an orange cardigan. While Ranbir Kapoor, in the video rocked the casual look in a black t-shirt, grey track pants, and a cap.
The actress began by saying that the team Brahmastra has teased the audience with Kesariya’s audio long back. Alia also said that they wanted to extend the release a bit more but had to drop the song. Ayan also added to it and admitted that if they cannot hold back more the audience will start trolling them. The director also revealed that he hasn’t slept well for three to four days but the night before the song’s release was insane.
Soon, the conversation was also joined by Ranbir Kapoor. He said that he doesn’t remember the last time of so much anticipation for the song. Ranbir also said that after watching ‘Highway’ he had told Ayan about Alia that ‘Ye to Amitabh Bachchan Nikli’. Alia then tried to plant a kiss on Ranbir’s cheek but missed.
