The actress chose a Prabal Gurung pearl-encrusted white gown for “fashion’s biggest night.” Alia wore a pearl-encrusted gown with a figure-hugging bodice that flowed into a full ball skirt with a floor-sweeping train. The plunging neckline of her attire added to its sexiness.

The inclusion improved the Met Gala’s tribute to fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld this year. The designer, who worked with high-end fashion labels like Chanel, Fendi, and Chloe over the course of a seven-decade career, usually donned fingerless gloves as part of his characteristic style. Alia selected a dress with embroidery.
