The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ along with Ranveer Singh. She recently took to her Instagram handle to share a behind the scene video in which the actress is preparing to address the audience.
Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were present in Kolkata to talk about their film where Alia surprised everyone. The actress greeted everyone in Bengali and also tried to speak a few sentences in the language but forget mid-way. The co-star the diva then jumped in between to handle the situation.

In a clip that is now being shared on the internet, Alia could be seen wearing a pink ombre saree along with her character’s signature bindi and jhumka. While Ranveer looked dapper as he opted for a white shirt and black trousers. Both the stars stepped on the stage and started conversing with the audience. Soon after Alia greeted everyone and said, “I forgot my lines, Maine rehearse kiya tha,” Ranveer then applauded her for doing her homework but forgot everything during her exam.
Meanwhile, the makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned to promote their film. Recently, a special screening of the film was also held in Mumbai city. The event was attended by the star cast of the film. Yesteryear star Jaya Bachchan who is also a part of the film attended the screening. The actress came along with her daughter Shweta Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan.
