Deepika Padukone, allegedly followed their backup account, according to the handle. Such a Tweet’s veracity cannot yet be verified. However, the user posted a brief video of the same with the caption, “Not #DeepikaPadukone following my backup account.”

But according to a Deepika Padukone fan page, the actress unfollowed the previous account right away after receiving a message about it. They published a screenshot of it. They said the actress was ignorant of the fraudulent account and fixed it by unfollowing it as soon as she learned about it.
