Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia left for heavenly abode this morning. The actor had left his shoot schedule in the morning and had returned because of his mother deteriorating health condition. His ailing mother was admitted to the ICU of Mumbai’s Hiranandani hospital.
Akshay Kumar took to his IG handle to share the tragic news of his mother’s demise and wrote, “She was my core. And today, I feel an unbearable pain at the core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”
On September 7, 2021, Akshay had shared an update on his mother’s deteriorating health and had asked his fans to keep her in their prayers. Taking to his Twitter handle he had tweeted, “Touched beyond words at your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help.”
