Akshay Kumar, one of Bollywood’s most popular and successful stars, is known for his high-energy performances and disciplined lifestyle. However, his co-star Aditya Seal recently revealed a lighter, unexpected side of the actor during the filming of Khel Khel Mein.
In a recent interview with India Today, Aditya Seal opened up about his experience working alongside Akshay in Mudassar Aziz’s directorial venture, which released earlier this year. The Indoo Ki Jawani actor shared how Akshay would often gather the cast and crew on set to showcase his vast collection of memes, stored on his iPad.
“Akshay sir has this obsession with saving all the memes on his iPad,” Aditya recalled with amusement. “He would gather everyone around to show them. We all had such a good laugh. He has countless numbers of memes with him.” The light-hearted moments on set, driven by Akshay’s meme-sharing sessions, provided a fun break during filming.
Akshay Kumar’s “Insane Energy” on Set
Beyond the memes, Aditya praised Akshay for his infectious energy and presence on set. He described Akshay as the “most senior actor” in the ensemble cast and said the superstar set the tone for the entire team.
“His energy is insane,” Aditya said. “Even during the intense scenes, we were still having fun. The whole experience was chaotic but also chill.” Despite the pressure of filming a major production, Akshay’s playful and relaxed attitude made the process enjoyable for everyone involved.
Khel Khel Mein and Upcoming Projects
Khel Khel Mein, which also stars Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal, was released on August 15, 2024. The comedy clashed at the box office with Vedaa and Stree 2, but has since found a wider audience after its release on Netflix.
As for Akshay Kumar, the actor has a busy slate of films lined up. His upcoming projects include Jolly LLB 3, Welcome to the Jungle, Bhoot Bangla, Skyforce, Housefull 5, and Hera Pheri 3. He also made a cameo in the recently released Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.
Meanwhile, Aditya Seal continues to build his filmography, with notable roles in films like Tum Bin 2, Student of the Year 2, and Namastey England. His most recent appearance was in Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahaani this year.
