Ajay Devgan’s Dad Veeru Devgan Passes Away: Kajol Breaks Down Aishwarya Rai Consoles Her
Yesterday morning, Ajay Devgn’s father Veeru Devgan passed away at the Surya Hotel in Santacruz. Veeru, who had turned 85 this year, was fighting for his life for a long time. His health had been failing since quite sometime. Ajay had even called off a few interviews during the promotion of his film, De De Pyaar De.
Among other stars, it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her husband Abhishek Bachchan who were seen consoling the family. Ajay Devgan and Kajol are in a really bad state right now. Kajol was trying hard to maintain her calm but broke down suddenly remembering her deceased father in law. Aishwarya Rai was around and consoled her. Watch the video.
Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Suniel Shetty, Arjun-Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Salim Khan were present to pay their last respects.
For the uninitiated ones, Veeru was also a strong part of the glamor world. He will always be known for his impeccable work in films like Dilwale (1994), Himmatwala (1983), Shahenshaah (1988), to name just a few. He choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films. Also, he directed a film – Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999).
