As we all are aware of the tragic news that Bollywood star Akshay Kumar had lost his mother on Wednesday. Now, it is reported that his close friend and director Anand L Rai has lost his mother too. The mother of the filmmaker breathed her last today morning, producer Shailesh Singh was the first one to visit the house of the director.
The funeral of Anand L Rai’s mother took place at Oshiwara crematorium and Akshay Kumar who is also grieving the loss of his mother visited Oshiwara crematorium to attend the last rites. In the pictures shared by the paparazzi, Akshay Kumar could be seen visiting the crematorium in white attire along with his security.
Akshay Kumar was busy shooting his upcoming film Cinderella in UK when he learned about his mother’s health. The actor immediately flew down to India to be with her mother and informed his team to continue filming the scene which does not require her. Later, on Wednesday the star informed his fans and followers about his mother’s passing away. “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti,” Akshay had tweeted.
