Co-writer Manoj Muntashir assured the producers will adjust the language to accommodate public mood when Adipurush received criticism for its “tapori” dialogues. The movie “Adipurush,” starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has sparked debate over its speech, which has been dubbed “tapori.” The contentious phrases in the movie, however, have now been replaced by the creators as promised. The speech in the movie “Adipurush,” starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has caused controversy and been dubbed “tapori.” The contentious lines in the movie have since been replaced by the producers, as promised. The speech in question was spoken by Bajrang (Hanuman), who was played by Devdatta Nage in the scene with Lanka Dahan.

Here are the lines: “Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, aag bhi tere baap ki, aur jalegi bhi tere baap ki.” However, the lines have now been changed in the new prints that have come. From “baap”, the words have now been changed to “Lanka”. One of the new prints’ audio clips was uploaded on Twitter by a viewer. It goes as follows: “Kapda teri Lanka ka, tel teri Lanka ka, aag bhi teri Lanka ki, aur jalegi bhi teri Lanka hi.” ‘Adipurush’ is inspired by the Hindu epic Ramayana. Om Raut is the director of the movie. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdutta Nage are among its cast members. On June 16, it was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Manoj’s initial justification

Manoj stated in a conversation with Republic World,  “It is not an error. It is a very meticulous thought process that has gone into writing the dialogues for Bajrang Bali and for all the characters. We have made it simple because we have to understand one thing: if there are multiple characters in a film, all cannot speak the same language. There has to be a kind of diversion, a kind of division.”

Makers promised to change dialogues

After defending the dialogues he authored for Adipurush the day before, Manoj took to social media to make a guarantee that the film’s producers will remove some of the lines’ controversial wording. “I can give countless arguments in favour of my dialogues, but this will not reduce your pain. I and the producer-director of the film have decided that some of the dialogue which are hurting you, we’ll revise them, and they’ll be added to the film this week. May Shri Ram bless you all,” he penned.
