His wife, German actress Suzanne Bernert, was away in Hyderabad for a shoot when the accident occurred.
Additionally, the Indian Express reported that the actor had been dealing with health issues related to blood pressure for some time. Just a few days prior to the accident, Suzanne disclosed in an interview that her husband had temporarily put his career on hold to assist her in learning proper Hindi. The couple, who had been together for over a decade, officially tied the knot in 2009 and later had a traditional wedding ceremony in 2011. They shared the screen in the television shows “Kram” and “Mera Dil Dewaana.”
