Priya Banerjee recently took to her Instagram page and provided inside views from her wedding with Prateik Babbar, where he was seen becoming emotional during his wedding and singing for her. On February 14, 2025, Prateik Babbar married actress Priya Banerjee, garnering media attention. The couple greeted the media outside the house where they were married, which was owned by Prateik’s mother and the late actress Smita Patil, and published a few photos in the evening to announce their union.

Prateik and Priya greeted the invited guests during their intimate wedding, which included close friends and family members. Mics and music players were brought out, and the wedding mandap was emptied. Prateik Babbar was spotted seizing the mic at the same moment and starting to sing for his bride with his buddies. Raj Babbar and the late actress Smita Patil, who died of problems during childbirth, are the parents of Prateik Babbar. Prateik has always had a great deal of respect for his mother, even if they don’t spend much time together. At Smita Patil’s house in Bandra, Prateik married the love of his life, Priya, and placed a large picture frame of her close by during the wedding. Prateik told Vogue why he chose to get married at Smita’s house: “We desired a ‘ghar ki shaadi,’ and getting married to the love of my life here, the first house my mom bought and my home was the best way to honour her in spirit.”

French knots and a hand-embroidered chikankari motif decorated his sherwani jacket. Prateik accessorised it with a personalised necklace featuring floral designs and ivory pearls. However, Priya looked stunning in a fishtail skirt embroidered with resham and adorned with a structured corset, crystals, sequins, pearls, and beads. With a few pieces of jewellery to finish her look, the actress wore her hair in a bun and wore minimal makeup.
