Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan has opened up about her views on ageing, asserting that she is not attempting to “look younger.” In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the 44-year-old actress discussed her approach to ageing naturally and her decision to avoid cosmetic enhancements, including Botox. Kapoor revealed that her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, finds her attractive as she is, which has influenced her stance on embracing her age.

“I don’t feel the need for Botox or any cosmetic enhancements,” Kareena Kapoor stated. “My husband finds me sexy, my friends say I look amazing, and my films are thriving.” Kapoor stressed the importance of accepting oneself at every age and not succumbing to societal pressures to maintain a youthful appearance. “Age is a part of beauty,” she added, noting that she is proud to play roles that reflect her age, which has helped her maintain authenticity in her career.

Focus on Self-Care and Well-Being

Kapoor also touched on the significance of self-care in her life, revealing that she takes time to focus on her well-being. “Self-care means taking time for myself, whether it’s spending quality moments with friends, cooking with Saif, or simply enjoying a workout,” she shared. The actress emphasized the importance of not just physical health but also mental and emotional well-being.

For Kapoor, nourishing the soul comes from enjoying life’s simple pleasures, whether through fitness routines, a meaningful conversation, or indulging in a good meal. “Nourishing my soul with a good meal, a heartfelt chat, or a bottle of wine is essential for me,” she added.
