In the viral video, the singer can be seen interacting with ace filmmaker Vivek Rajan Agnihotri and making startling revelations about the singing reality shows. “There are lots of shows, where the songs played are dubbed. They don’t want to show the faltered scene, they show it by correcting it.”

He also revealed that music companies favour their singers by playing only their songs. “Music companies ask the producers to play this song and not that song citing it as against their company policy.” He also went on to add music companies promote their artists even though all the contestants are equally talented.

A few days ago Indian Idol season 1 winner Abhijeet Sawant accused the makers of Indian Idol saying that they are not interested in singing anymore but wants to make money by selling tragic stories. Abhijeet told Aaj Tak, “These days, the makers are more interested in whether the participant can polish shoes or how poor he is, rather than their talent.”
