It’s been a year since Sushant Singh Rajput left for heavenly abode on June 14, 2020.  The tragic event still haunts us. Lesser Known Facts About Sushant Singh Rajput

  1. Sushant Singh Rajput was born in Patna, Bihar on 21st of January 1986. He was very fond of his mother Usha Singh who passed away in 2002. Sushant had once revealed that his name had a connection with his late mother Usha Singh and shared, “It means anything and everything at the same time. The best part is the middle heart part of my name which is also my mother’s name; s USHA nt. See, how wonderful”.

  2. Sushant had achieved 7th rank in AIEEE and also won National Olympiad in Physics. He also got enrolled himself in the Delhi College of Engineering now known as Delhi Technical University but after completing three years he dropped out to pursue a career in acting.

  3. He came to Mumbai and joined Shiamak Davar’s dance troupe which bagged him a chance to appear in the title track of Dhoom 2 as a background dancer. He had also gotten an opportunity to be a part of Aishwarya Rai’s dance performance in the 2006 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.
  4. He finally made his acting debut in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap titled “Kis Desh Mein Hain Mera Dil” in a supporting role. Later he got the lead role in Pavitra Rishta opposite Ankita Lokhande.

  5. His fascination with space and astronomy was no secret he also owned a top-notch telescope called Meade 14″ LX600. He had also bought a piece of Lunar land named “Mare Muscoviense” or the “Sea of Muscovy”.
