His funny caption caught the attention of his father, Amitabh Bachchan, and his niece, Navya Naveli Nanda. Abhishek Bachchan is a hidden gem of Bollywood, who has proved his acting prowess numerous times with movies like Paa, Guru, Ludo, Bob Biswas, Dhoom, Bunty Aur Babli, and more. In a recent Instagram post on his recent release, Dasvi’s look got a hilarious reaction from his father, Amitabh Bachchan, and niece, Navya Naveli Nanda. Dasvi is trending at No.1 on Netflix India, and Abhishek Bachchan is on seventh heaven. He played a Haryanvi chief minister of an imaginary state called ‘Harit Pradesh’.
Abhishek’s character, Ganga Ram Choudhary, gets sentenced in a corruption case, and then after being provoked by an IPS officer whose role-playing is Yami Gautam, he decides to pass his 10th-grade board examinations. Abhishek Bachchan has taken on a Haryanvi accent for this comedy-drama, and he is quite proud of this.
A few hours back, Abhishek Bachchan shared a post on his Instagram handle and gave millions of his fans a visual treat by posting a picture of him in Ganga Ram Choudhary’s character from the film, Dasvi. The picture showed the actor holding his iPhone while making a dopey face. He looked dashing in a white-coloured kurta-pyjama, green-coloured pagdi, and sparkling gold jacket. Alongside the post, Abhishek Bachchan captioned his picture as: “My face when they say, “Your Haryanvi accent is so sexy!”
Abhishek’s amusing caption on his post caught the attention of several, including his father, Amitabh Bachchan, his niece, Navya Naveli Nanda, and his sister, Shweta Bachchan, and actors like Anil Kapoor and Angad Bedi.
They reacted to his post with equally funny reactions. Amitabh Bachchan’s comment on his post read, “Hahahaha ..super .. it is and so is the dress .. love (red heart emoji)”. While his adorable niece, Navya wrote, “Serving some major LEWKS”. Abhishek’s sister Shweta Bachchan praised his looks and commented, “My eyes, my eyes”. On the other hand, Anil Kapoor adored the actor in his style and wrote, “Kya lag rela hai baap.”
In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Abhishek Bachchan had spoken about his sense of humour. He had suggested everyone laugh at themselves and take things gently as life is already serious enough. He expressed: “In life, you should have a sense of humour. We tend to take ourselves a bit too seriously. Life is serious enough as it is, learn to laugh at yourself.”
